About May-Tag
May-Tag Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation operating as a Company Limited by Guarantee, with charitable status, has been meeting and serving the needs of the community in South Ayrshire since 1988, training and rehabilitating individuals, building community cohesion and capacity, establishing civic pride and working in partnership with statutory agencies and other funding bodies. During that time, it has remained alert and responsive to changing policies and funding environment and is now addressing opportunities for partnership working over the next three years.
Since 2004 it has been part of Momentum Scotland. May-Tag, however, is still an Ayrshire based community company with its own Board of Directors, accounts and head office in Maybole.
Over the last 16 years May-Tag has obtained funding for many different local community projects - horticultural, numeracy & literacy, and visually impaired training. Through these and many other initiatives May-Tag has gained Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire Business in the Community Award, a bronze at Gardening Scotland, silver at Ayr Flower Show, and Learn Direct Trainee of the Year award .

British Computer Society as an ECDL centre.

May-Tag is currently working with Momentum Scotland within the framework
of the European Foundation Quality Management (EFQM), to improve business
excellence within the organisation.

The advancement of education, including the provision and promotion of training opportunities and projects. The relief of poverty, and the care of underprivileged sections of the community. The promotion and implemation of schemes of community benefit of a charitable nature.
