Maybole One Stop Shop recently won ITV's This Morning Christmas Appeal to "Help the Elderly". We were awarded £8000 to transform the building formerly used by voluntary group, Over the Rainbow, and make it into a fresh, new Age Concern Centre to be used and enjoyed by the residents of Maybole.
The work is now complete, and the new centre is ready to be used. The next step is to elect a volunteer committee to look after it, plan activities and decide on what services they would like to offer to the seniors in Maybole.
The meeting will be taking place in the next week or two. If you are interested in joing the committee of the new centre, please come along to the meeting or contact Gillian directly at the One Stop Shop.
Details of when the meeting will happen will be published here, and in the local press as soon as they are confirmed.
